Friday's Festivities

Friday afternoon I was reunited with one of the three musketeers! Idil and I spent the afternoon catching up on our lives and on gossip--it was back to normal life for a few hours. Although we missed our third member, I was very happy to find out today that Mehreen has been offered an internship in Barcelona for the semester. Sounds like a reunion in Spain is coming up!

Friday night marked the end of the first week of classes and Joe's birthday. Unfortunately Joe is not a name common in Sweden, so in Lucy's party planning efforts she could only find balloons for Joel (pronounced you-el). But I don't think Joe was too disappointed.

Just finished up Sunday dinner after a great weekend that included an authentic Swedish crayfish party (with singing and schnapps!) and a housewarming party, but tomorrow morning classes start again!
